“Last month I joined a very exclusive group: UK visitors to Revestir, the Brazilian tile show held annually in Sao Paulo. I have to admit that I thought long and hard about attending. Like most businesses, TSJ is looking hard at its expenditure
and has reduced discretionary spending to the bare minimum. So, could I really justify a week
away from the office and the inevitable restaurant bills, taxi fares, etc, etc, to visit another tile fair. After all, the recent experience of European fairs had promised little more than half empty halls, depressed exhibitors and few attendees.
However, with last year’s successful show still clear in my mind, I decided that it was worth a punt. And how right I was. Unlike February’s Cevisama, and most of the other interior design shows around Europe this year, Revestir was a resounding success.
