Discover the trend for scalloped surfaces with the distinctive shape of Verona’s Teardrop collection, designed to create luxurious, boutique-inspired spaces.
Fish-scale tiles have taken interiors by storm of late, the distributor says, sweeping through homes and commercial properties with what’s described as a completely new look that brings renewed design potential to spaces large and small. Offering “wow-factor” in spades, the tiles can be laid with the curved edge upwards, or vertically for a cascading effect which flows from one side of the wall to the other.
In a small 152x 72mm format, Teardrop comes in a trio of modern monochrome shades: white, light grey and black. While each colour can be used individually for a continuous design, they can also be mixed together in complete harmony to offer homeowners more creative freedom.
Laura Hardaker-Graham, marketing manager at Verona, explains: “A few years ago scalloped tiles were unheard of, but as more unexpected shapes have filtered through to interior design this style has surged in popularity. The colour scheme makes this a timeless collection. Black, grey and white will never go out of style so we expect Teardrop will be a strong seller for retailers in years to come.
“Handboards will be available to support retailer sales, plus we have created some stunning roomset photography to inspire customers. Teardrop will also be available as part of our room visualiser, InSitu, which enables homeowners to see for themselves how Verona tiles look in their existing living space.”
