LTP expands bespoke and tailored guide series

LTP expands bespoke and tailored guide series

November 2021

LTP’s Cleaning & Aftercare Guides offer step-by-step guidance on all aspects of tile treatment – from initial cleaning, through protection to daily maintenance.

Tailored for individual materials and fields of use, the series includes detailed directions on application and method, presented with step-by-step visuals.  Bespoke guides tailored for individual projects are also available.

The latest title to join the series is ‘Polished Terrazzo – clean, seal, care - Guide.  Terrazzo offers many benefits, not least durability and a stunning aesthetic, but incorrect maintenance can create big challenges.

Terrazzo is acid sensitive and, during the polishing process, micropores are opened within the tile surface which make it more sensitive.  This allows the tile to more readily absorb grease, dirt and spillages.  Use of acidic maintenance products can also etch the tile surface and dull any sealant applied.  The new guide presents best practice instructions for new installations and renovations.  It includes precise advice on dosing, method and timings, as well as recommendations on man power, protection and correct cleaning tools.

Other new titles in the LTP Guide series include ‘LTP External Natural Stone & Paving Cleaning and Sealing Guide’ and ‘LTP External Porcelain Paving Cleaning and Protection Guide’.
