Making a grand entrance…
EMC Tiles has recently completed a significant refurbishment at their head office at Southglade Business Park, Nottingham. Phase one of the new refurbishment accelerates the expansion of the business facilities for growth within the company as well as allowing EMC to bring all footfall within one entrance, a business model that the company has perfected over the 44 years that it’s been trading.
The project has seen the refurbishment of its Head Office main customer entrance, along with the first part of what will be a completely rejuvenated showroom, and in phase two will bring together both its customers and traders into a fabulous and inspiring space. Commenting on the refurbishment, Stephen Slawson, Sales & Commercial, Managing Director, said: “We feel privileged and excited to launch such a fantastic facility showcasing our products the moment you walk through the door. We’re delighted with the results and have had great initial feedback from the public and our business clients who have seen the refurbishment develop.”
Stephen then continued to thank suppliers for their support and input, he said: “We could not have completed this project to such a high standard without the incredible hard work of the contractors, our in-house Merchandisers, all spearheaded by their leader and our Facilities Manager, Andy Anderson. Thank you also to those very loyal Trade customers that helped complete the various challenging tiling applications. Huge investment from many suppliers has been gratefully received and contributed towards innovative materials exhibit a variety of indoor and outdoor porcelain, including 1200x2600mm, fabricated surfaces, LED lighting to the stairs and reception desk, wet room displays, niches and bespoke metallic profiles to our new showroom displays. Our gratitude extends further to all our customers and our amazing staff at Nottingham for all their patience and support whilst this project has been under construction.”
The award-winning showroom model, which is adopted throughout all their branches, will be showcasing the very latest in tile designs and tile fashion, with several wow factors within. Sales & Commercial Managing Director, Stephen Slawson continued: “We’re extremely proud of our achievements, especially these past years with everything going on in the world today.”
