For this year’s Cersaie exhibition, Decocer returned with “Earth in Motion,” designed by architect Héctor Ruiz Velázquez, a stand which was said to transform small-format ceramics into architecture.
The project continues the concept presented at the previous edition and subsequently awarded at Coverings 2026.
“While last year’s narrative explored the origins of ceramics – earth, clay and material – in 2026 it turns to transformation,” the company says. “The material folds, undulates, rises and generates space. Ceramics thus move beyond being understood as a surface to become skin, volume and architectural landscape,”
Under the concept “SMALL SIZE. BIG DREAMS.”, Decocer presented three new collections at the international trade fair, where colour, relief, materiality and a handcrafted appearance become resources for creating spaces with identity.
The proposal once again focused on the creative possibilities of small format and on one of Decocer’s main strengths: its ability to develop bespoke ceramics, customising shapes, dimensions, colours, reliefs and finishes to meet the needs of each project.
