UltraTile has been awarded Best Environmental Initiative at the prestigious 2026 Tile Association Awards, recognising the company’s “ongoing commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility across every aspect of its operations”.
The award celebrates UltraTile’s continued investment in greener manufacturing processes, sustainable product development, renewable energy, and low-emission logistics. As part of its environmental strategy, the company has focused on reducing its environmental impact while maintaining the high-performance standards customers expect from its product range.
One of the standout initiatives recognised by the judges was ProEco Gel, UltraTile’s tile adhesive launched in 2024. Containing 30% recycled content – reportedly one of the highest ratios available in the market for a gel-like adhesive – the product has already helped save more than 132 tonnes of virgin raw materials through sales alone, the company says.
Sustainability is said to be embedded throughout UltraTile’s product portfolio, with products including ProGrout Flexible in Vintage White containing 50% recycled content, ProGrout Flexible Ivory containing 48% and ProGrout Flexible Brilliant White incorporating an impressive 75% recycled content.

Looking ahead, UltraTile is aiming to strengthen its sustainability strategy through a range of future initiatives including centralised sustainability reporting, comprehensive carbon footprint assessments, science-based emissions targets, enhanced ESG reporting processes, and increased third-party verification of environmental performance.
