Grouts for indoor and outdoor living

UltraTile is home to a portfolio of what the company describes as contractor-friendly, premium tile adhesives and grouts, suited to meet the demands of the tiling industry.

Selecting the correct adhesive to install your chosen tiling is paramount for success but the finishing is also crucial. When making such an integral design decision, it is vital that you do not compromise aesthetics with poor grouting.

UltraTile offers grouting options suitable for “all designs, environments and tastes”. The company’s range of internal and external tiling grouts is designed to make light work of any installation – the hardest decision you will make is choosing between the beautiful colour options available, it says.

Designed for use with all types of tile, UltraTile ProGrout Flexible is available in twelve colours, aimed to provide an option for all tile choices, trends and aesthetics.

Suitable for kitchens, bathrooms, wetrooms and underfloor heating systems, ProGrout Flexible can reportedly be washed down with minimal effort and is suitable for joint widths up to 20mm. With a mould resistant formulation, and a set time of 12 hours, ProGrout Flexible can be used in all tile installations.

The product has been developed using ColourShield Technology, a process which involves the addition of a specialist additive for lasting colour protection.

With demand for external tiling increasing, and the trend for linking indoor and outdoor living spaces continuing, UltraTile also offers an external tiling grout to “help create the patio of your dreams”.

UltraTile ProPave Grout has been specially developed using coloured quartz to offer a sleek, blended look that perfectly complements the lustrous look of the tiles, the company says. The use of coloured quartz reportedly provides excellent colour stability, which will not fade or discolour over time.

According to the company, an extraordinary amount of care and thought has gone into each colour. “Each shade has been refined to work with popular porcelain tile trends”, it says. “Choose Natural Cashmere and add warmth and grandeur to your tiles with this rich shade of honey gold quartz. The deep grey quartz of Storm Grey is the perfect complement to any grey porcelain tile or choose Pebble Grey for a soft grey colour with misty undertones. Delve into an intimate garden space and create a sense of deep colour with Cosmic Black.”

ProPave Grout is a permeable solution that is said to be simple to apply and eliminates the need for hand pointing. It can be used in all weather and is frost resistant. Once applied, you can walk on the finished tiles in 24-48 hours.
