The Tile Association held another successful Golf Day on 6 June at the Stratford Park Golf Club. The day began with bacon rolls for breakfast followed by a shotgun start.
TTA wishes to thank everyone who attended, and especially the event’s main sponsor Genesis Global Systems. Founded in 1989 in the ceramic and accessories market, Genesis has expanded globally to provide finishing solutions for floor and wall installations, exporting in over 100 countries.
Congratulations to the team winner, Palace Chemicals. The Palace team was made up of James Broadhead, Simon Clough, Andy Mason and Ross Porter.
The individual winner was Simon Clough, scoring an impressive 41 points. He was followed by Andrew Segre in 2nd and Aaron Goodman in 3rd, as well as Andy Mason just missing out on top 3. These all scored 38 points and the tie was split by their scores on the back 9 holes: Andrew Segre shot 19 points, Aaron Goodman shot 18 and Andy Mason shot 17.
The longest drive was won on hole 10 by Todd Bucknall. There were two nearest the pin hole winners: first, on hole 8, Andy Bass and second, on hole 17, Jack Hudson.
A well-deserved meal and presentation closed the day.

During the networking event, a generous £250 was raised for TTA’s nominated charity Children Today. This year, Children Today is celebrating 30 years of supporting disabled children and young adults. TTA has been supporting Children Today for 20 years, raising over £75,000 in that time!
