Delivered at customer premises, the company says these practical sessions provide flexible, accessible learning tailored to industry needs and cover all aspects of surface protection and maintenance. Sessions are also available at trade events and through bespoke CPD presentations on request.
The training provides what’s described as a comprehensive overview of different material types and guidance on how to correctly identify them, alongside an introduction to the LTP product range. This includes cleaning, protection and maintenance solutions for every stage of installation – from pre-installation sealers through to restoration treatments.
In addition, the sessions also address more specialist applications, including methods to extend surface protection, enhance appearance and resolve common substrate and surface issues. This includes guidance on stain removal challenges and restoration techniques, with specific issues covered on request. For example, removing surface and naturally-occurring rust stains from acid-sensitive stone, renovating terracotta using traditional methods and the use of ergonomic application tools for contractor wellbeing.
Sessions also explore different types of adhesive and grout, highlighting associated residues and best practice for their safe and effective removal for all tile types. There’s also an introduction to LTP’s Product Selector – the online technical support tool and a retail sales aid that helps users identify the most appropriate solutions for specific applications and problem-solving scenarios.
