Visit SPATEX 2023 for the building blocks of water leisure

Does your work involve tiling spas, showers, wellness suites, swimming pools, steam rooms or saunas? If yes, the organisers of SPATEX 2023 have provided seven reasons why it’s a must-attend show for you.

The UK’s annual water leisure exhibition, which takes place at the Coventry Building Society Arena, Tuesday 31 January to Thursday 2 February and is free to attend, provides tilers, builders, developers, architects, specifiers with all they need to know in this fast-moving world, the organisers say.

Innovations and new products: With over a hundred exhibiting companies, including leading manufacturers and suppliers from around the world, this is your one and only chance in the calendar to see and compare a host of innovations under the convenience of one roof. Companies such as Ardex UK, Cranbourne Stone, Designworks Tiles, Flex Flooring, GMT Spas International, Mapei UK, Stoneworld (Oxfordshire) and The Mosaic Company will be launching products. For instance, Ardex is unveiling its new AM 50 OCR Render for pool surrounds, changing rooms and showers – a low-cost pre-blended sand and cement render that can be applied from 6-20mm in a single application prior to tiling, it has a long pot life of four hours.

A host of show discounts, prices and competitions: Exclusive to SPATEX visitors.

Saving energy tops the show’s agenda: “We aim to bring energy saving into sharp focus and make it a forum for discussion and finding solutions,” says SPATEX organiser, Michele Bridle. “With education, the latest technological advances and careful management, there are effective ways to significantly reduce energy consumption and bills. Minimising energy usage is a consideration that needs to be factored in at the design stage which is why this show is of vital importance for everyone in the industry.”

Pick up new skills: A free double seminar programme is available on all three days. In Arena 1 ISPE (Institute of Swimming Pool Engineers), has curated a diverse workshop programme and CPD points and certificates of attendance are issued to all attendees.
