Instarmac Group has announced the appointment of two board members and a managing director designate to support its strategic growth plans.
Lizzie Elston has been appointed director (managing director designate). Qualified with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Hons in International Business, Finance and Economics, Elston’s 9 years company experience and cross-brand knowledge is said to provide a solid foundation for her roles as both board director and trustee.
Elston will be taking control of the operational duties as managing director designate from 1 May 2023 and will work under the guidance of all members of the existing Holdings Board and Mark Shorrock, managing director.
Lizzie says: “It is a great honour to accept the appointment of managing director designate. I am looking forward to working alongside Mark and our highly experienced board of directors to shape the future of our incredible company and further build on our success.
“I am particularly passionate about advancing our market leading innovation and world class customer experience and I am confident that with the support of our exceptionally talented and passionate team we have a bright future.”
Richard Anderson has been appointed finance director. Anderson has worked for Instarmac for 12 years, as financial controller and more recently as head of finance.
Darren Gough has been appointed quality & operations director. Gough has worked hard to achieve many things over the course of his 12 years career with Instarmac Group, and he will continue to apply his expertise in his role as a director.
Finally, following 27 years with the business, it is with regret that existing group sales and marketing director, Paul Butcher will be leaving on 15th May 2023.
John Holcroft, CEO, says “These appointments are well-deserved and mark another significant development in Instarmac’s strategic plans for 2023 and beyond.
“The board of directors and trustees want to thank Paul Butcher for his years of dedicated service, passion, enthusiasm and for making a lasting difference to our business. He will be greatly missed by all.”
