Coverings, described by organisers as the largest tile and stone exhibition and conference in North America, took place this April at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. The four-day industry event boasted “breathtaking global tile displays, invaluable industry insights and engaging networking opportunities” across nine miles of tile and global exhibit space.
More than 1000 companies from over 40 countries exhibited at the event. Various features were presented on the show floor, including pavilions for both Tile of Spain and Ceramics of Italy members. Onsite activities, live demonstrations, show floor tours and interactive programs also provided hands-on experiences for all applicable industry segments.
The four key tenets of Coverings 2024 were: Health & Wellness, Sustainability, Outdoor Spaces and Timeless Luxury. These themes were highlighted throughout the show floor, aiming to provide attendees with experiences that emphasise the many benefits and uses of tile and stone.
Headlining Coverings 2024’s new show floor features was the “Outdoor Oasis” in Hall C, which was conceived and revamped from the popular Coverings Lounge of years past.
Organisers say this “mesmerising” faux-outdoor environment highlighted tile’s seamless integration in outdoor settings among plant material and outdoor furnishings. The feature also provided a central location for showgoers to attend learning sessions, connect with peers and socialise.
