Atlas Concorde joins Sedex

Atlas Concorde has successfully completed the SMETA 4 Pillar audit and joined Sedex, said to strengthen its commitment to ethical standards, working conditions and sustainability.

SMETA, which stands for Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit, is an audit designed to help companies assess their working conditions, environmental, health and safety, and ethical impact. A SMETA 4 Pillar audit reportedly allows companies to demonstrate their commitment to responsible practices by covering a broader range of criteria than other standard audits. Using Sedex tools, the company will optimise data sharing with its customers and improve its sustainability performance.

“We are glad to announce that the successful completion of the SMETA 4 pillar audit underscores our commitment to ESG principles and highlights the best practices we have implemented throughout the entire production process at the heart of our business,” said Maurizio Mazzotti, CEO, Atlas Concorde.
