Amber Underfloor Heating, a supplier of underfloor heating systems to the retail sector, has announced the launch of a decoupling membrane as part of its ongoing product innovation programme.
The decoupling membrane is said to offer many benefits, including 40% higher compression resistance at 9,000kg per sqm, 45% more tensile strength and reduced curling and rollback due to its sturdy polyethylene construction.
“We’re delighted to add the brand-new decoupling membrane to our extensive product portfolio. With its many additional features and benefits, we can provide our customers with the latest innovation for their underfloor heating project” said Simon Whittaker, national sales manager at Amber Underfloor Heating.
This decoupling membrane can reportedly take up to 5mm cable diameter and is available in two sizes – 1x5m and 1x15m – offering options for varying project types and requirements.
With its significantly improved vapour management, the company says, it also reduces drying time by up to 25%, meaning it’s now even quicker to create the cosy and warm environment desired by homeowners and developers alike.
“Here at Amber Underfloor Heating, we know that people don’t want to worry about their underfloor heating system, so the more maintenance-free components we can provide, the better. Underfloor heating offers a simple, hassle-free heating solution – which is why it’s more popular than ever” added Whittaker.
Amber recently expanded its portfolio of underfloor heating thermostats with the launch of the DT-two and DT-two+, offering what the company calls ultimate controllability.
“Being in touch with what our customers want is key. Whether it’s the latest technology of thermostats or a new and improved decoupling membrane, we always strive to make underfloor heating the easy choice for everyone” concludes Whittaker.
The company offers both wet and electric underfloor heating systems, suitable for a wide range of commercial and residential projects.
Through its network of stockists across the UK and Ireland – including electrical wholesalers, distributors and kitchen, bathroom and tiling showrooms – the company says it provides complete underfloor heating solutions for the trade.
