Fix-A-Floor is said to be the original extra strength repair adhesive, which has been customised for the specific use of re-bonding loose and hollow tile, marble, stone & squeaky wood floors without the headache and mess of removing or replacing them. Potentially saving users thousands of pounds in alternative costly repairs, it’s been on the worldwide market since 2012.
According to the manufacturer, the key to the product’s effectiveness is its combination of a powerful and flexible adhesive with elastomeric properties, combined with an extremely low viscosity prior to curing. The product is said to be eco-friendly and does not contain any toxic or flammable substances. Its specially designed patented customisable bottle tip allows for a strong seal, which promotes good flow and coverage via a hole from as little as 2.5mm or larger. Every tip comes with a specially designed click-on cap designed to retain any unused adhesive until next use, saving on any wastage. The patented cap is also aimed to ensure the tip remains clog-free in-between uses.
For super narrow areas, no grout line applications or wooden flooring, installers can also use the Fix-A-Floor Micro Syringe Injector Kit which comes with an extra-long 14 Gauge Blunt Steel Tip. The syringe adapter simply screws on to the existing bottles and installers can apply using a recommended standard 10:1 thrust ratio caulking gun. Another option is the 60ml Syringe applicator Kit, designed for hard-to-reach areas, with greater visual control during application. This also comes with the extra-long 14 Gauge Blunt Steel Tip, a spare plastic applicator tip and a sealing cap to preserve any unused adhesive.
