Cersaie 2026 has brought the international world of ceramics, bathroom furnishings and architectural design back to Bologna, Italy, this September. Now in its 43rd edition, the exhibition remains a major meeting point for architects, designers, manufacturers, distributors and industry professionals looking to discover the ideas and materials shaping tomorrow’s interiors and built environments.
Across five days at the Bologna Exhibition Centre, leading international companies present their latest collections and technologies, spanning ceramic floor and wall tiles, porcelain stoneware, bathroom furnishings, architectural surfaces and interior and exterior finishes. The exhibition offers visitors an opportunity to explore new approaches to colour, texture, format and performance while seeing emerging design trends brought to life.
But, Cersaie is about more than new products. Its programme combines design inspiration with education and industry discussion through conferences, Press Café talks, technical seminars and live demonstrations. Bologna once again puts installation expertise in the spotlight, while the special “EVERYWHERE – Unexpected Landscapes” installation explores the expanding possibilities of contemporary ceramics within architecture and design.
Innovation and sustainability are also prominent themes in 2026. Exhibitor presentations include developments in digital design and artificial intelligence, alongside technologies aimed at reducing reliance on extracted natural materials.
With its combination of international networking, creative inspiration and technical expertise, Cersaie continues to demonstrate how ceramics can move far beyond a functional surface. For design professionals, the 2026 edition offers a valuable snapshot of where materials, technology and architectural thinking are heading next.
