Cersaie 2026: Infinite potential

Cersaie, Italy’s premier exhibition for tiles and bathroom furnishings, is taking place at BolognaFiere from 21 to 25 September, once again aiming to offer five days of innovation, networking and high-quality products.

Against a backdrop of significant challenges for the tile manufacturing sector (this year is the first edition of Cersaie since the beginning of the war in Iran and its effects on both energy prices and supply chains), the exhibition has once again managed to secure significant support from the industry, with almost 600 exhibitors joining this year’s show.

This year’s event will feature an installation called Everywhere – Unexpected Landscapes, created by architects Dario Curatolo and Angelo Dall’Aglio, designed to demonstrate the “infinite potential” of ceramics as a surface material. Described by organisers as a “surreal-looking model,” the art piece is said to feature visionary applications of ceramic surfaces which showcase the extent that technology has leaped forward in the sector.
