Aparici has introduced various new ranges at this year’s Cersaie exhibition, including the Illusion collection, described as “part of the contemporary extra-ordinary trend, showcasing a paradigm shift in design that emphasises quality, warmth, and understated luxury”.
The tiles feature a metallic-effect with a lappato finish designed to “enhance the visual allure” of the metals while offering a tactile experience. Aparici says the tiles are suitable for a range of projects, owing to their ease of installation and low maintenance. They are available in both 50x100cm and 100x100cm dimensions, and their thickness is 7.4mm. The manufacturer says of the collection: “The chromatic interplay of turquoise and brass, combined with white and the metallic accents, achieves the perfect balance between modernity and luxury, making this collection ideal for those seeking to infuse contemporary spaces with a touch of elegance.
Other collections launched at the show include Fireclay, a range of porcelain tiles designed to faithfully replicate the texture and appearance of natural, unrefined clay, offering what’s described as a genuine yet contemporary aesthetic. Fireclay is available in 60x60cm and 50x100cm formats, and is said to result in “cleaner, more modern design compared to the traditional smaller terracotta formats”.
The company has also launched the Whisper collection of reclaimed wood-effect tiles. One of the most “captivating” details of the collection, says the manufacturer, is the incorporation of gold-filled veins, designed to add a sophisticated air to the natural feel of the material.
