The ARDEX Group UK offers a suite of single day masterclass courses designed to provide practical and theoretical tiling training for fixers, apprentices, students, distributors and specifiers on a range of topics.
The company works with complementary manufacturers including wedi, Sigma, Rubi, KHR Company and more to offer rounded training courses on all aspects of tiling and preparation.
The group now offers courses at both its North and South training academies in Stoke-on-Trent and Haverhill respectively, with selective courses also available at wedi’s training centre in Manchester and KHR in Southampton. BAL Large Format Tiling Solutions with RUBI
11th July 2024 – ARDEXAcademy North, Stoke-on-Trent
Book on this course for a full day’s training on fixing large format tiles and panels with handling, cutting and mitring solutions from RUBI. Explore, tile handling and cutting, background preparation and the range of BAL products and what they can offer. Understand the types of installation techniques for large format tiling.
ARDEX Preparation and Tiling Guide for Swimming Pools
3rd September 2024 – ARDEXAcademy South, Haverhill
This free one-day course will include pool design considerations, understanding background types, exploring ARDEX screeds and levelling compounds, a look at renders and waterproofing systems and selection of tile adhesives, grouts and silicones. ARDEX Large Format Tiling with Wedi and Sigma
4th September 2024 – Wedi UK, Manchester
A one-day course with Wedi and Sigma all about Large Format Tiling – focusing on large format ceramic panels. Hands-on training on background and sub-floor preparation with Wedi XPS board systems and ARDEX products, plus in-depth training on Sigma’s handling, cutting and mitring equipment. Plus explore ARDEX fixing solutions for large format tiles.
