BAL is excited to introduce its new epoxy solution; BAL Absolute Grout – designed for what the company describes as ultimate waterproof protection in showers, wetrooms and bathrooms.
The product is a three-part epoxy grout system. With easy-mix and application, the company says, it provides protection in hygienic and wet areas and a perfect finish.
The three-part technology is designed to ensure colour is locked within the filler, providing long-lasting colour tones. As a three-part system it is even easier to mix and easier to apply with an epoxy grout float. Improved rheology also helps the grout hold well in the joints, particularly on walls.
According to BAL, Absolute Grout cleans off with a good quality sponge – emulsifying pads are usually not required (but can be used if preferred on heavily textured, anti-slip tiles).
It can be cleaned off easily after just 15 minutes after application, the company says, but fixers will have plenty of clean-off time – as it can still be cleaned-off easily up to 60 minutes “after application.”
Providing a hygienic, durable and impervious finish, it’s a suitable finish and protection in commercial showers, bathrooms, kitchens, swimming/hydro therapy pools, food preparation areas, hospitals/industrial plants, while also providing waterproof protection for domestic wet rooms and showers.
Available as a 2kg unit in 3 core colourways – matching the BAL Micromax colours White, Smoke and Ebony – the range provides coverage of 10sqm with 150x150x5mm tiles and 2mm joints.
