Launched in June 2021, Instarmac’s online Training Academy offers a collection of resources designed to help tiling professionals continue their learning and brush up on the latest techniques, at home, in the office, or on-site.
Visitors can take part in various webinars, watch how-to videos and access a library of technical and educational resources.

The RIBA-approved CPD seminar is suitable for anyone working in the tiling or flooring industry who wishes to learn more about underfloor heating systems, or for architects looking to fulfil their CPD obligations.
The company’s ‘Specifying Tiling to Underfloor Heating Systems’ CPD covers key learning objectives including the benefits of heated tiles and types of system available, key design and specification considerations for tiling on underfloor heating systems, as well as product choices for tiling on underfloor heating and how to select appropriate materials. It also discusses how to confidently specify typical tiling system build-ups for underfloor heating and addresses the importance of warranties and confidence in complete performance systems.
For those who prefer training in-person, the company offers its Academy Days at the Instarmac Training Academy. Suitable for both experienced contractors and those beginning their tiling career, the training days cover topics including tile adhesive selection, external tiling systems and substrate preparation.
The indoor training facilities were built specifically for the tiling industry. Events are hosted by Alan Collins and Martin Pouncey, expert trainers with more than 30 years in the tiling and flooring industries.
