The Master Tile Fixer certification scheme has now been launched. This is a new membership category which will have its own identity, complete with logo.
To be eligible, the member must be an independent tiler with a minimum of ten years’ tiling experience. Enrolment will comprise an online test, which will consist of questions of an advanced nature to ensure the prospective Master Tile Fixer is at a specialist, superior skill level.
Certification will be reviewed annually and will include a three-yearly refresher course based around 20 technical and training questions to ensure Master Tile Fixers are aware of any new standards and regulations.
For the first six months of 2023, Master Tile Fixer certification will be awarded to current members only and there will be no additional charge for this during the year. The following year will be charged at £200 on top of the normal independent tile fixer rate. After the initial six months, new members will be eligible to join as a Master Tile Fixer providing that they meet criteria and pass the assessment.
Master Tile Fixers will be entitled to display the special logo on all their stationery, vehicles and marketing materials, demonstrating to their customers that they have attained the highest possible category of membership for independent tilers. Their entry in TTA website directory, which gets large volumes of traffic, will be shown at the top of the directory search pages. TTA will also produce and distribute a press release to promote each member as they are enrolled. This will certainly create extra kudos for your business.
