No sooner had the celebrations for TTA Awards 2022 been brought to a close in late June, than sponsors started lining up to offer their support for next year! For sponsors to come in so promptly in the annual Awards cycle is a really strong endorsement by the industry of TTA Awards, which bodes well for another great Awards year in 2023!
These are the tiling industry’s national awards, which each year recognise quality and achievement in our sector. Support from the industry’s major brands is what makes the Awards possible and it also demonstrates these companies’ commitment to the values of excellence and achievement which are associated with the Awards.
So let’s see if we can reach, or even exceed, the amazing tally of 15 Gold sponsors achieved in 2022! If you are interested in being a sponsor please email awards@tile.org.uk or call 0300 365 8453.
First out of the traps this year is Jackoboard. Michael Hailwood, sales director of Jackon UK & IRE, said: “The awards night and Tiling Show is a fabulous opportunity to acknowledge the efforts of the Jackoboard team in the UK and meet great friends from the industry; we were honoured to be finalists in 2022 amongst some great brands in the world of tiling. Mike McCann dressed as a giant bee was a particular highlight! We congratulate the winners in all categories and look forward to the 2023 event, where again we will be Gold sponsors.”
Meanwhile Paul Luff, TTA chair, said: “We’re pleased to announce the return of JACKOBOARD as our first Gold sponsor of the 2023 Awards. Having major industry brands on board from the start of the planning for 2023 is a real endorsement to the success of the day. Without this valuable backing TTA Awards would not be what they are.”
Other Gold sponsors who have also already come on board as this issue of TSJ went to press are: Palace Chemicals, PCS Board (Polyfab Coatings), Shackerley (Holdings) Group, Topps Tiles, UltraTile, Verona, WB Simpson and Weber.
Nicollé Mullarkey, customer service manager at PCS, said: “PCS are proud to be taking a prominent role as a gold sponsor of TTA Awards once again. The event is a symbol of excellence and innovation, and is a fantastic opportunity to recognise and celebrate the achievements within the industry. The professionalism and integrity which TTA stands for, aligns with PCS’s ethos, and being a gold sponsor once again emphasises our support for the industry.”
Charles Clapham, Palace Chemicals managing director, said: “Following the fantastic attendance at both the Tiling Show and Awards ceremony this year, Palace Chemicals are pleased to continue with our sponsorship of TTA Awards for 2023. We are proud to be able to sponsor an event that recognises and celebrates the excellent work and achievements within the industry.”
Richard Carter, Topps Tiles’ managing director of retail, says: “Here at Topps Tiles, we’re excited to be sponsoring TTA Awards again. It’s important to us as a brand to celebrate the success of the tiling industry and to support the tilers that shop with us and make up such an important part of our customer base. We’re looking forward to the awards in May!”
Brian G Newell MBE, group chair of Shackerley (Holdings) Group, said: “I am pleased to be able to confirm our continuing support for TTA Awards this year. We know that our brand derives significant benefits from our involvement in the Awards, but more importantly they give us the opportunity to recognise enterprise, innovation and achievement at a personal and a corporate level.”
