Verona appoints two to marketing team

UK distributor of tiles, outdoor porcelain, mosaics and flooring, Verona, has recently welcomed two additions to its in-house marketing team. The appointments will be integral, the company says, in developing its product portfolio and driving brand awareness.

Joining the team as marketing manager, Laura Hardaker-Graham will be overseeing product development as well as looking at additional routes to better communicate Verona’s position in the industry. Having worked in homeware and fashion marketing roles for over ten years, covering both retail and consumer sectors, Hardaker-Graham brings a wealth of knowledge which is particularly fitting for her role at Verona, which will involve close monitoring of fashion and interior movements to better streamline the company’s core and trend-led collections.

Hardaker-Graham said: “The team at Verona are brilliant. They are passionate and care about what they do – that’s clear from the amount of product innovation and growth the brand has seen over the past couple of years. Having seen Verona’s plans for the future, I’m very excited to join them on their journey.”

Also joining the company, Hannah Lawson has been appointed as product marketing executive. Lawson’s role involves working closely with key accounts and retailers to offer support for Verona product ranges, from brochures and POS and training guides. As well as directly working with customers, Lawson will be also be assisting with range development, photography and display options.

Lawson adds: “I’ve worked in this industry for over six years and love the creativity and challenges that come with it. I’m hoping my experience will allow me to bring fresh ideas, creative flair and a positive attitude to the company. So far, Verona is proving a great place to work. My team is open and supportive, plus I’m really enjoying the variety of work – no two days are the same!”

Katy Black, marketing director at Verona adds: “We’re delighted to welcome Laura and Hannah to the team. Both have already proved themselves to be excellent members of the team in the short time they have been here. As tile trends continue to evolve, we know the importance of always having creative talent at the fore of product design. Laura and Hannah both have experience within the interiors market and understand how fast paced it is. It’s vital that we are hot on the heels of new fashions in order to strengthen sales for our retailers. We look forward to seeing how they progress here at Verona.”
