Kaleseramik, a leading ceramic tile manufacturer in Turkey, once again aims to demonstrate its strength in the global arena at Cersaie, which it will be attending for the 33rd time.
Reportedly Turkey’s largest, Europe’s 6th and world’s 17th biggest ceramic tile manufacturer, the company is preparing to present an interactive and inspiring experience focusing on the theme of sustainability at the event.
Across its 400sqm booth, Kaleseramik will exhibit products from its brands including Çanakkale Ceramic, Kalebodur, T-One and Edilcuoghi Edilgres.
Kaleseramik will create ambient areas within its space to showcase the latest exclusive collections of its prestigious brands, all designed within the company’s “Take Care of Your World” framework.
Kaleseramik, who will meet with the participants at the Cersaie Fair once again with its products and designs that reshape the living spaces, pioneered the establishment of the industry in Anatolia 65 years ago. Kaleseramik also ranked 180th on Turkey’s Top 500 Industrial Companies list announced by the Istanbul Chamber of Industry this year.
Çanakkale Seramik Fabrikalari and Kalebodur Seramik Sanayi merged in the year 2000 as Kaleseramik Çanakkale Kalebodur Seramik Sanayi. Now the company operates 50 production lines in a single area with a capacity of more than 68 million sqm per year, and exports to over 400 locations in 100 states.
The company produces 26.3 million sqm of wall tile per year, 28.1 million sqm of floor tile per year, 5.5 million sqm of porcelain tile per year and 1.8 million sqm of Sinterflex (100×300-120x360cm).
The company’s Yozgat factory, which began production in 2007, has 562,000 sqm of open space and 24,000 sqm of indoor area. Producing 1,900 types of floor tiles in and 2,200 types of wall tiles in different sizes, Kaleseramik launches approximately 200 products each year.
The main export markets for the company include United Kingdom, Canada, USA, Italy, Germany, Belgium, Pakistan and Israel. Exports currently account for a 33% share in its total sales, however the company aims to increase its total export rate to over 40%.
According to the 2021 year-end results announced by the research company GFK, Kaleseramik recorded a 44% growth in quantity and 89.5% growth in amount compared to the previous year. The company experienced particular growth in both the sanitaryware and the faucets & water systems markets.
Continuing its efforts to establish regional offices for marketing and sales in the Americas, Europe, and East Asian countries, the company reportedly plans to build on the growth it has achieved with its Kalesinterflex product – especially in China – which is one of the largest producers and exporters of ceramics in the world.
The company also plans to produce matte and polished porcelain in 6mm, 10mm, and 20mm thicknesses in different sizes up to 160x320cm demanded by the market. The total contribution of this investment to the company’s capacity is projected to be around 1.5 million sqm.
