Join Parkside for the Festival of Sustainability

Parkside is bringing another instalment of its Festival of Sustainability event series this March.

A chance to hear leaders from environmental charities, industry bodies and suppliers give their diverse perspectives on how to build sustainable specifications, the Festival of Sustainability will take place on Thursday 30 March at Clerkenwell’s Crypt on the Green. “It’s an evening not to be missed,” the company says.

The night is an exclusive opportunity to hear from Planq sustainable furniture, Envirobuild, World Land Trust and the Natural Environment Research Council. Speakers will be tackling a range of issues and the festival will conclude with an informal panel Q&A session answering questions from the night.

Anthony Gray, from sustainable furniture maker Planq will be first to deliver a keynote, then Dr Aidan Bell of Envirobuild will speak on the idea of pragmatic sustainability, where everyone in the supply chain contributes. Once again, Dan Bradbury from World Land Trust will join the festival, looking at conservation projects benefitting from Parkside’s Carbon Balanced status. Hannah Lacey from the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) will be the last to talk, looking at how environmental science can boost our journey to net zero and enhance wellbeing.

The evening will round off with a Q&A session, giving attendees the opportunity to have their burning sustainability questions answered by the panel. As always, the festival will conclude with post-session networking and refreshments.
