Recent consumer research from MyJobQuote has highlighted green tiles and marble features as important bathroom trends in 2023 based on Google search data.
Regarding green tiles, the market research company said: “This is a trend that is soaring in popularity this year, with searches up over 3000% in the past few months alone.
“Green is a very versatile colour and comes in a range of shades to suit every aesthetic. From emerald to mint to forest green, the options are limitless. Lighter shades of green help to create a light and refreshing atmosphere, while darker shades can help to add some depth and drama to the room.
“In addition to various shades, you can also get a range of different styles of green bathroom tiles. You could go for matt green tiles, glossy tiles, patterned tiles, textured tiles, and many other options.”
Interestingly, this trend is something of a departure from the Pantone colour of the year, Viva Magenta, which was a deep pink shade. MyJobQuote also highlighted marble features as a “timeless” bathroom feature which is invariably one of the most popular choices.
“Marble is an excellent material for the bathroom as it’s naturally water-resistant. Plus, it provides an added element of luxury and makes your bathroom feel like a spa,” the company says.
