Whether tiling a shower, a domestic spa, swimming pool or a large commercial water leisure facility, SPATEX 2023 is your show, organisers say. Now in its 27th year, and held at the Coventry Building Society Arena, Tuesday January 31 to Thursday February 2, SPATEX is reportedly the UK’s only dedicated water leisure exhibition.
Designed for those working in water leisure and wet facilities, the exhibition is “bursting with the very latest innovations in swimming pools, saunas, spas, showers and all their ancillary equipment, including tiles, coping, paving and decking”. It provides tilers, builders, developers, architects, specifiers the opportunity to meet more than a thousand people from the water leisure industry in one day.
Visitors can expect to see a showcase of the latest patterns, designs and labour-saving products from companies such as: Ardex UK, Cranbourne Stone, Mapei UK and many more.
Energy saving
With the price of energy and fuel inexorably rising, SPATEX’s focus this year is on sustainability and showcasing the latest innovations designed to reduce energy consumption and bills.
“We aim to bring the topic of energy saving into sharp focus and make it a forum for discussion and finding solutions,” said SPATEX Organiser, Michele Bridle. “With education, the latest technological advances and careful management, there are effective ways to significantly reduce energy consumption and bills. It’s this positive message that, with the help of our exhibitors and experts, we aim to communicate to our visitors.”

SPATEX is the first opportunity to view 2023’s most “box-fresh, technologically advanced” products, organisers say, with many companies offering show discounts to visitors. Viewing the latest trends and colours of tiles will help to develop your ideas and ensure your projects reflect the best in the marketplace. The event is designed to help visitors pick up the latest labour-saving products to make jobs quicker and easier.
Knowledge is power
SPATEX, with the help of ISPE (Institute of Swimming Pool Engineers), is curating its best free-to-attend, double seminar and workshop programme to date, including free education and training. CPD points and certificates of attendance are issued for all attendees of the ISPE workshops in seminar Arena 1.
Manufacturer and supplier of building materials, Ardex, will be giving a talk on Tuesday 31 January 2-2.30 pm in seminar Arena 1.
