Country House tiles are a “high class hit” for Ceramique Internationale

Ceramique Internationale’s country house themed Ragley tile range has proven it is a cut above the rest since its launch earlier this year, the distributor says.

Reportedly outstanding sales figures show the tiles have become a popular addition to the classic country house collection, which also features the award-winning Harewood range.

Ceramique Internationale has collaborated with the same Spanish producer to offer the Metro shaped 100x200mm Ragley tiles at an affordable price.

Advanced technology is used to randomly print a 100% realistic crackle glaze onto durable ceramic, which means there is no need to seal the tiles before grouting.

With a glossy surface and available in colours ranging from ‘Old’ white, understated greys and subtle aqua, to Bahia blue, Ragley is said to be an ideal choice for British bathrooms and kitchens.

Director of Ceramique Internationale Peter Vann says: “Traditional artisan crackle glaze tiles demand a premium price due to the complex nature of their production, which involves rapidly shrinking a glass glaze during manufacture, causing it to crack, and creating an intricate surface pattern.

“With Ragley we can offer the same sophisticated style but at a price that won’t break the bank. It’s no wonder these highly distinctive tiles are proving a hit.”
