Bostik UK has appointed Yuliya Nam-Wright as the company’s new head of sustainability. Bringing over two decades of experience, Nam-Wright will reportedly drive the company’s sustainability strategy, “spearheading new and existing environmental and social initiatives”.
Nam-Wright brings with her a diverse background, including her most recent role at Wood Mackenzie, where she served as principal polymer sustainability analyst. Prior to working for the global research and consultancy group, she held roles as sustainability manager at INEOS Aromatics and marketing manager at INEOS Acetyls. In addition to her recent posts, she held various researcher, analyst and consultant roles.
As stakeholder expectations for sustainable operations continue to rise, Nam-Wright’s proven track record and broad expertise position her as a suitable candidate to propel the company’s environmental and social agenda forward.
In her role as head of sustainability, Nam-Wright will play a “pivotal role” in shaping and implementing Bostik UK’s sustainability strategy and aligning the company’s commitments to environmental responsibility, social impact, and economic performance, the company says.
Nam-Wright said: “I am excited and privileged to join a vibrant and professional team to further accelerate Bostik’s sustainability efforts in the UK, working in collaboration with the customers and partners throughout the supply chain. I firmly believe that an innovative business model with sustainability at its heart empowers people, enables customers to provide more sustainable products and services and drives up value of the business.”
