Powder-coated trims have recently emerged as a “game-changer” for the industry, the company says, thanks to their durabilty and versatility.
Powder coated trims are said to be renowned for their longevity, safeguarding against chipping and wear. During manufacturing, a dry powder is applied to the trim surface, which is cured under heat to form a resilient, uniform coating. This coating creates a strong protective barrier that shields the trim from moisture, corrosion, and physical damage. As a result, STS says, powder-coated trims maintain their appearance and structural integrity even in areas of high moisture where traditional trims may deteriorate over time. Hence, these trims are suitable for all internal areas including kitchens, bathrooms, wet rooms and living areas. Additionally, the powder-coating process can reportedly be considered environmentally friendly since it generates minimal waste and does not involve harmful solvents.
STS says its powder-coated Beava Space Series Classic Trims are made from high-quality anodised aluminium, offering an attractive and professional finish to any tile project. Thanks to the coating, the trims are scratch resistant and will refrain from fading over time, the company says, providing a protective and decorative edge to tiled surfaces.
Following the introduction of its Space Grey trim, STS expanded the range, with each colour specifically designed to complement the most popular five main grout colours, as well as every tile type. The colours are popularly known as Saturn Sand, Asteroid Grey, Space Grey, Celestial White, and Midnight Black.
All colourways are available in a variety of lengths (8, 10, and 12.5mm) and can be purchased alongside matching corners to give any tiling project a uniform and professional finish.

Available in both 9.5mm and 12.5mm alongside the matching corners, these trims offer a “modern and stylish” finish. These box trims are designed to create a visual impact with their raised profiles and smooth powder coated film achieving a distinctive three-dimensional effect.
