€1.2 million support for in-person activities at Cersaie 2021

August 2021

Edi.Cer. spa has signed an agreement worth 1.2 million with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Italian Trade Agency to support Cersaie 2021.  This underlines the event’s international scope and its economic importanbce to the region. The funding will give a major boost to an exhibition that is crucially important for the Italian ceramic industry, one of the key sectors of Italian manufacturing.

The largest share of resources will be allocated to organising visitor delegations from Germany, France, the UK, North America, the Gulf states, and Scandinavia. A total of 180 architects, distributors and journalists have been invited to the 2021 International Exhibition of Ceramic Tile and Bathroom Furnishings.  And, for the first time ever, Cersaie will be welcoming a group of leading players in the Contract and Real Estate sectors.

“The fact that we are able to organise Cersaie as an in-person event once again and offer customers a first-hand view of Italian innovations is crucial for the international competitiveness of our companies,” said Emilio Mussini, vice chairman of Confindustria Ceramica. “It is equally important for the recovery of numerous Italian companies which provide the services, accommodation and hospitality that make the show possible.”
