DELIVERING tile installers clean, accurate snaps every time, the XTC630 and XTC900 Xtreme Pro-Series Manual Tile Cutters have been developed by the QEP team to be the ultimate way for tilers to score and snap tiles without risk of breakages, says Vitrex.
Designed for tile installers that need robust tools, ready for the challenge of daily site work, these Vitrex Tile Cutters are said to feature the proven two-step Push and Snap Perfect Cut system, for clean and controlled snapping, plus maximum efficiency.
Dual chrome-plated rails are said to deliver smooth scrolling action time after time, combined with an ergonomic handle for complete control. The adjustable mitre guide and magnetic breaker are all made to withstand intensive professional use, while the clear view of the scoring line delivers a precision score. To ensure accuracy, the adjustable mitre guide features a clamp to lock-in the angle, while the 22mm super-hard titanium cutter wheel runs on ball bearings for a low-friction action, says the company.
Suitable for use on ceramic and porcelain tiles up to 13mm thick, Vitrex says there are very few tile cutting duties these Xtreme Cutters can’t handle. Even large format tiles aren’t a problem, as there are two sizes: The XTC630 for maximum cuts up to 630mm and the XTC900 for cuts up to 900mm. They both achieve diagonal cuts and feature a 200mm wide reinforced aluminium flat bed for stable operation. A magnetic side support adds stability for larger tiles.
