Transforming spaces with light, texture and materiality

Spanish tile manufacturer Aparici emphasises “texture, vibration and warmth” in its new collections – Illusion, Chevron and Wands – which are said to fuse sophistication, functionality and architectural design.

The Illusion collection, a porcelain stoneware range by Aparici, demonstrates how ceramics can become a key element in interior architecture, allowing light to shape and transform spaces. Owing to the company’s lappato technique, which combines areas of increased brightness with matte areas, the wall tiles subtly reflect light.

The Chevron collection, a porcelain stoneware available in oak and walnut tones, both in its classic version and in the variant combined with travertine, is designed to reinterpret the warmth of oak and walnut with the strength and durability of ceramic. Thanks to the chevron format, Aparici says, the herringbone pattern of the flooring creates a sense of dynamism and fluidity, enhanced by the interaction with natural light.

The Wands collection, on the other hand, is described as “a resounding commitment to texture, where surfaces cease to be flat and become elements that catch the light, generate volume and add visual depth”.
