ROBERTS, a brand of QEP, partners with FENTO in the UK, are to distribute their product range.
Fento is described to be renowned for its ergonomic knee protection developed by the company’s founders, physiotherapist Geert Kaal and sailmaker René van Rijn. Its ergonomic knee protection is favoured by flooring and tiling installers with more than one million users around the world.
Now with a range of products designed to ensure that installers on their knees can work pain and trouble free, Fento has released a new version of its Fento Board in Fento Board M2, designed to give optimum comfort to when working in rough areas. Board M2’s unique wedge shape uses Fento’s ergonomic pressure distribution technology to help prevent knee and back problems, says the company.
Winner of the IF Design Award 2025 and the Red Dot Design Award 2025, Fento Board M2 features a soft, shock-absorbing polyurethane foam top layer that’s waterproof, easy to clean and anti-static. This pad sits within a broad wear-resistant bottom layer that enhances breathability, stability, penetration protection (EN 14404) and slip-resistance. It’s a combination that delivers exceptional comfort over long periods in the toughest conditions, says Fento.
Tom Connelly, Roberts category manager, explains: ‘We’re proud to be a premium partner for Fento in the UK. We share the same passion for providing installers with well-designed, ergonomic products that make their job easier and with Fento’s world-class knee protection, we can make them more comfortable too. The new Fento Board M2 is the harder working big brother of the original Fento Board and is ideal for installers that face tough working conditions.
‘Not only ergonomic, Fento Board M2 is light enough to be carried around easily and comes with a handy magnetic tool tray to prevent the loss of screws, drill bits and any other handy items. The knee board is available from Roberts tool stockists across the UK. ’
