Domus has opened “The Studio” at its Clerkenwell Showroom; an interactive space where clients can engage with materials, explore a variety of textures and colours, and craft personalised design schemes.
According to Domus, “The Studio at Domus Clerkenwell invites architects and designers to explore materials creatively. With a curated ceramic library, moodboarding worktops, and adjustable lighting, it is a hands-on space designed to inspire — a playground for decorative surfaces where art and design converge.”
The Studio features more than 80 decorative ceramic tile ranges across a wide spectrum of styles, colours, and finishes. It’s an interactive space designed to encourage experimentation, helping clients build cohesive material palettes for residential and commercial projects.
Beneath the central table, feature drawers reveal a curated collection of wall tiles grouped by colour and finish. A library-style back wall allows designers to view surface variation and pattern at a larger scale. Just outside The Studio, full-size panels display complete specifications for each range, alongside the company’s broader porcelain tile collection.
A specialist lighting system allows viewing samples under different light settings, simulating environments from home interiors to commercial spaces.
The company concludes: “The Studio is a fantastic resource that helps designers make confident, informed decisions about every surface.”
