AS part of its educational mission, Cersaie continues to serve as a hub of knowledge, information and training, especially for younger generations preparing to enter the workforce, says the organisers. The 42nd edition of the International Exhibition of Ceramic Tile and Bathroom Furnishings will once again host the ceramic industry Career Day, which will take place in the former Modern Art Gallery inside the Bologna Congress Centre.
On Thursday 25 September, the second edition of Career Day will offer a full day dedicated to training and career guidance, creating valuable opportunities for dialogue and connection between young people and the Italian ceramic companies exhibiting at Cersaie, says the organisers.
The 25 ceramic companies taking part in the initiative will have the opportunity to meet individually with students and recent graduates from across Italy. The exhibition area will also feature booths run by the participating universities, alongside a dedicated ‘CV check’ desk offering practical advice on how to write an effective résumé and prepare for job interviews.
Career Day is promoted by Confindustria Ceramica and organised by Edi.Cer S.p.A. in collaboration with AlmaLaurea s.r.l. and BolognaFiere, with the support of the University of Bologna, the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia and the University of Ferrara. Students interested in taking part can apply through their personal AlmaLaurea accounts, says Cersaie.
It adds: ‘With this initiative, the International Exhibition of Ceramic Tile and Bathroom Furnishings reaffirms its role as a springboard for talented young people looking to embark on careers in an Italian industry renowned for its strong international focus’.
