West Yorkshire’s “future focused” profiles company

Dural UK is a growing subsidiary, providing modern profiles for any flooring need, tiles, natural stone, parquet, laminate, fitted carpets and design coverings.

First established in 1981, in Westerwald Germany, Dural has expanded across all five continents, into more than seventy countries. Initially supplying only profiles, the company’s offering has grown to over 100 ranges, comprising more than five thousand products including movement joints, micro joints, trims, matting and colour matching.

The extensive range allows Dural to successfully fulfil all design requirements, the company says, while meeting most demands in both residential and public building tiling requirements for architects, designers and installers alike.

“A popular choice for many retailers, Dural’s quality stands out,” the company continues. “Precision workmanship forms the foundation of all Dural products, and its reputation is impressive. Dural implements a comprehensive quality management policy and all materials have been tested and verified for their durability and safety. Dural as a company is future focused, they continue with their dynamic development work and therefore continually expand their product range with both interesting and practical products. Expect innovative design concepts! Dural offers an extensive range of high-quality.”

The company’s movement joints have reportedly been specified on many projects, from retail, commercial and transport to education, hospitality, sport and leisure. The company makes it possible to produce movement joints with the most popular RAL coloured infills. Bespoke movement joints carry lead times of one to three days depending on the quantity needed and production capabilities.

The company has supplied and collaborated with major car brands including Ford, Mercedes, Audi and Volkswagen. Movement joints create a smooth finish allowing for a seamless, high-end designer look, the company says, especially suited to car showrooms, design and retail spaces. Dural also specialises in colour matching joints to the chosen grout or floor finish, helping to create a seamless, high-quality finish. The company’s products are designed and manufactured to exceed the requirements of BS 5385 and can be used with slate, natural stone and ceramic tiled floors.
