Tilers Community, the UK’s largest and most active social media community for tilers, has announced its first awards event, taking place on 15 August at Walsall Football Club. The group, which now boasts more than 7000 members, has consistently grown in both activity and influence in recent years, collaborating with brands like UltraTile on training events.
The Tilers Community Awards Evening has received sponsorships from the likes of Fix-A-Floor, Perflex, Amber UFH and South East Tile & Bathroom Supplies, among others. The group’s admin, Sam Hoffmann, described the event in a post: “This is a no frills get together and as affordable as we could make it so tilers of all financial income can afford to attend.
“Lots of awards, a get together with drinks for members and partners and is a members only event.” The awards include categories such as Trainee of the Year, Member of the Year and Company Representative/Staff Member of the Year, alongside more traditional product and project awards.
