The Tiling Show 2025: “A visionary step forward” for RUBI

This year’s Tiling Show proved once again why it’s a calendar worthy event for tilers and professionals in the tiling industry, says RUBI. Held at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole, the 2025 show was the busiest and most vibrant in recent years, according to the company, a clear sign that innovation is thriving in the sector.

RUBI UK and Ireland brought with it a wave of new products aimed directly at tilers.
At the heart of the company’s display this year was the TK Manual Tile Cutter. This product is said to capture RUBI’s commitment to driving the evolution of tiling tools to the next level. According to the company: “Visionaries see further, and with this innovative design, you will see exactly where your scoring wheel is at all times.”

This product features an off-set asymmetrical monoguide rail. The TK was reportedly developed with professional tilers in mind. It combines visibility with robust engineering. The design features a breaking system similar to that of the RUBI TX Max, making it an easy one-handed option for quick and accurate cuts, the company says.

Along with the TK, the company also provided an exclusive preview of the upcoming DC Smart Advance. Visitors to this year’s event were treated to early insights into what’s set to be another “incredible leap forward” for cutting performance, says RUBI. Early reactions were reportedly enthusiastic, with professionals excited about what this could mean for efficiency in their daily work.

Beyond these products, the company’s expanded range is designed to offer something for every kind of tiler; from apprentices to seasoned pros. At the show, the Angle Tech reportedly proved particularly popular among those looking to upgrade their angle grinder setup. With a lightweight design, superior handling and consistent power, the company says it offers improved safety and adaptability.

RUBI also showcased its Cut Master Guide attachment, a robust accessory designed to streamline cutting tasks with enhanced precision and dust extraction. As anyone in the industry knows, dusty working conditions from cutting tiles can be hazardous, and the Cut Master Guide delivers what’s described as an easily adaptable solution to this daily problem.

But RUBI’s vision isn’t just focused on cutting tools, the company says, but all aspects of tiling work. The Easy Squeeze pedal cleaning system, along with the compatible Base Sponge, highlighted its focus on finishing as an essential part of the tiling process.

Designed for “effortless wringing and efficient water use,” the Easy Squeeze system is said to help professionals maintain a pristine finish with minimal fatigue.

Another product on display was the RUBI Lumeo; a compact, high-performance battery powered light delivering 4,000 lumens. This product is designed to improve visibility in challenging environments.

The company says: “Our focus isn’t simply on selling products—it’s on supporting professionals through smarter design, better ergonomics, and a deep understanding of what tilers truly need.

“With so many new product launches this year so far from RUBI, our presence reflected the pace of innovation that our community demands. Tiling is evolving rapidly, with growing interest in large-format tiles, tighter installation tolerances, and greater demands on precision and finish. Our goal is to meet those challenges head-on, and 2025’s Tiling Show confirmed that we’re on the right path.”

The company concludes: “We’d like to thank everyone who visited the RUBI stand this year. Your feedback, enthusiasm, and insights are invaluable. As we look ahead to the future, we remain committed to pushing boundaries and bringing meaningful innovation to every stage of the tiling process.”
