IT’S that time of year to reflect on 2025 and what better way to do that than to ask the industry what its favourite products of 2025 have been. To do this TSJ asked members of The Tilers Community forum page on Facebook, founded by Sam Hoffman, their thoughts.
BIHUI’s levelling system was a popular choice, however Bar Keepers Friend, a multi-surface cleaner and stain remover, was deemed a favourite when it comes to eliminating scratches from tiles.
Liam Mates, a contributor to the forum, said: ‘Kerakoll’s adhesive and its Fugabella grout is an unreal product, I wouldn’t use anything else now and my favourite bit of kit for tiling, as I mainly tile 120cmx60cm, is the 1.5mm Kubala clips for the wedge clip levelling system from Pro Tiler Tools.’
Chris Ford also commented: ‘10mm XPS board from Nicholls & Clarke Group and Benfer standard set adhesive. My recent new love is for Perflex Tile Grout.’

Earlier in the Year, Sam Hoffman, founder of The Tilers Community Forum page hosted the first Tilers Community Awards, celebrating talent and hard work in the tiling industry. Among the categories were Supplier of the Year Award and Product of the Year Award.
