FOR more than 45 years, SOLIDOR has been developing and producing adjustable terrace pedestals and support systems for terraces in Belgium.

In 2025, SOLIDOR further expanded its product range with innovative systems such as the CRIX levelling system – consisting of a patented wedge, tile pliers, tile spacers, and various coloured clips – and the Linup system for a seamless finish of wooden terraces, ceilings, and walls.

During the international tile fair Cersaie in Bologna, running from 22–26 September 2025, SOLIDOR presented in what it describes as a true world first: LUMISOL, the first illuminated terrace pedestal. This revolutionary product creates a subtle glow between tile joints and brings a unique atmosphere to terraces, rooftop terraces, and outdoor spaces, says the company.
Light and architecture united
LUMISOL is an illuminated top plate designed to fit SOLIDOR Comfort terrace pedestals. The diffused LED light subtly shines through the 3mm joint, creating a warm, architectural look, says SOLIDOR. Thanks to the smart app control, users can easily adjust colours, intensity, and zones. The result: terraces that are functional by day and become an atmospheric highlight at night, says the company.
