InstallerSHOW 2025 returns to the NEC, Birmingham

n the 24-26 June 2025, the InstallerSHOW made a return to the well-loved exhibition venue, NEC, in Birmingham. The show expected to bring 800 exhibitors and 30,000 industry professionals from an array of construction sectors. The NEC says: “Whether you’re an installer, specifier or decision-maker, this is the event to explore cutting-edge products, connect with manufacturers, and stay ahead of industry trends.”

What was new for the show?
InstallerBUILD was a new initiative introduced this year, aimed at the challenges the industry faces around making buildings safer and sustainable. It demonstrated the latest in retrofit solutions, sustainable construction products, and smarter ways of working.

Within the new InstallerBUILD space was the new HAUS exhibit – a two-storey house designed and built showcasing innovative low-carbon solutions, portraying insight for those visiting of alternative sustainable solutions. It was designed by award-winning architects, IF_DO and built from materials from Natural Building Systems.

At the show, there were exhibitors from across the construction industry such as heating, ventilation, renewables, kitchens, bathroom, smart tech, flooring, tiling and roofing. There were also live installation zones, interactive workshops, exclusive product launches and presentations from inspirational professionals across the build industry.

InstallerFUTURES was another exclusive development at the show. Dedicated towards apprentices and students, this area was developed by Lawton Tubes, Frontline Bathroom, Simon Acres Group, HIP, BTX, Sparks and Grundfos. The aim was to inspire the next generation of the industry, improve their skills and employment opportunities.

At the end of the first day, there was a celebration that recognised the achievements in the construction industry, who have gone above and beyond to help others. Known as InstallerMERIT, the event was an opportunity for those to network, as well as helping to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the InstallerSHOW.

There was also a segment called InstallerINVENT, a showcase portraying ideation of the future including heat, water, air and energy technology with an array of brand-new forward-thinking concepts.

Also new to the show was the first ever Building Safety Week, developed in partnership with Building a Safer Future (BSF), and the Code for Construction Product Information (CCPI). The movement comes with the idea of creating a culture change in how we build in safer ways across the industry.

Some of those who were exhibiting that represented the tiling and stone sector were Fix-A-Floor, Topps Group, Monumental, Tile Easy, Rubi, Beaver, Mapei, Marmox, Schlueter, Stonegate Precision Tooling, WarmUp, Fento and Montolit, to name a few, each showcasing their own products and innovations.

Head of national accounts and trade, Karim Shehata of Topps Group, said: “The Installer Show this year was by far the biggest and best I’ve ever attended. With over 30k attendees through the week it gave us a great opportunity to showcase the Topps Group and our ability to service all customers, from sole traders to national house builders. There was a great amount of interest in our stand, where we included ll our latest tile coverings, alternative flooring products as well as key essentials in the tiling trade from adhesive to tools. It also provided the opportunity to reconnect with our existing customers and the chance to network to explore new opportunities. We will do it again next year.”

TSJ asked Adrian Cox, managing director of Fix-A-Floor about his experience as an exhibitor at the InstallerSHOW 2025. He responded: “We were pleasantly surprised by the high number of visitors to the show. As this was the first InstallerSHOW to include a dedicated flooring section, we didn’t anticipate significant attendance from our sector; however, this proved to be one of the busiest exhibitions we’ve ever participated in.”

He added: “We proudly showcased our standard Fix-A-Floor bottles together with the innovative Micro Precision Injector version, designed to deliver precise application through a 2mm syringe needle straight from a standard caulk bottle – making repairs faster, easier, and more accurate than ever before.

When he was asked if the show was what he expected, Adrian said: “The response exceeded our expectations, as we connected not only with numerous existing customers, tilers and flooring installers who already consider our product an essential part of their toolkit-but also with retailers and stores that we support by featuring them on our website’s “Local Stockists” page. We distributed over 7,500 promotional leaflets in just three days, nearly depleting our supply. This will undoubtedly help extend our reach, and we’re confident the included QR codes will further drive traffic to our retail partners.”

Adrian responded when asked if Fix-A-Floor was going to exhibit next year: “As this was the first show to feature a dedicated flooring section, there’s significant potential for further growth. The flooring sector has long needed an event that brings together tile, laminate, wood, and LVT on a large scale. We’re optimistic that this show will become the premier event for the entire industry, offering substantial benefits to suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and installers alike.”

The InstallerSHOW is set to return next year at the NEC from 23-25 June 2026, with more product innovations, and where many exhibitors will showcase their brands and provide more opportunities to network across the construction industries.
