Our deep and short sea container department offers competitive import, export, and cross trade quotes on a worldwide basis.
We utilise 20 / 40 and 40ft High Cube ISO standard dry van containers, with weekly LCL services from all major deep sea ports.
Neptune has a global network of overseas partners who are strategically located to arrange the freight management of our clients’ shipments.
Some European trades we offer 20ft / 40ft open tops, in addition 40ft / 45ft PW and 40ft HC containers can be sourced. Other specialist equipment (for example 30ft containers) is available on limited services.
Much of our cargo are full loads based on “one collection, one drop”. Multi collections and deliveries can be arranged as required. If clients do not have adequate facilities to unload containers, Neptune can offer a devanning service. This may happen at the nearest port of arrival and delivered by trailers to our client’s warehouses.
We have a network of warehouse facilities across Europe which has enabled us to offer unbeatable daily and weekly groupage and full truck collection services. We have over 100 units arriving and departing from the UK each week bound for most major European cities,. Truly competitive quotes are available on dead weight, loading metre and high cube consignments and these rates are married to a superb class-beating level of care and attention. In an economic downturn or when global container rates rise to unpresented levels and JIT goods are only required, part load shipments can be a great alternative.
Neptune can offer an excellent internet-based consignment tracking and reporting app, which can be modified to each of our individual client’s requirements.
Our in-house customs clearance team have vast knowledge of commodities and are on hand to assist with any questions that may arise with your shipments. We have invested heavily in employing additional staff to ensure that Brexit regulations are handled with ease and simplicity. Neptune is AEO (Authorised Economic Operator) accredited and can fast track consignments through customs.
Neptune offers marine risks insurance cover and are happy to discuss any aspects of this policy which may help minimise the chances of claims arising.
