DECOCER presented an emblematic space titled ‘Echoes of the Earth’ at Cersaie, the international ceramics and design fair In Bologna. Designed by architect Héctor Ruiz Velázquez, the stand served as a material manifesto championing the expressiveness, sustainability, and versatility of small formats, says the company.
Decocer says its latest innovations demonstrate how ceramics can evolve from a simple covering to a structure, space, and narrative. The pavilion, 65sq m in size, emerges from a large, open ceramic mass in an organic and human gesture that invites visitors to enter. Three monumental cylinders, inspired by tree trunks and constructed entirely of small-format pieces, create an immersive journey where the material guides the movement, says the company.
