Tilemaster Adhesives offers a range of professional adhesives for tiling with ceramic, porcelain and natural stone tiles. The range includes various adhesives, suitable for all substrates, tiling materials and site conditions. The company offers a selection of rapid setting products as well as adhesives for sites where speed is not the overriding priority.
Where a flexible adhesive is required, the company has a choice of standard and semi-rapid setting products in the Setaflex range, a polymer modified, flexible cement-based wall and floor tile adhesive. Both Setaflex Standard Set and Semi-Rapid Setaflex have been developed to provide extended pot life, making them suitable for working with larger, difficult to manoeuvre tiles. They can be used internally on various substrates, including timber, and can be used in areas exposed to prolonged wet conditions, as well as for external use.
Tilemaster Standard Setaflex has a pot life of 3–4 hours and can be grouted after 24 hours. The Semi-Rapid version offers a compromise between workability, with a pot life of 90–120 minutes, and setting time, accepting light foot traffic and grouting after 6 hours. Rapid Setaflex has a pot life of 30 minutes and can be walked on and grouted after approximately 3 hours.
For difficult to tile substrates such as fibreglass or metal, the company offers Tilemaster Ultimate, specially developed for such circumstances. It is also suitable for use on cement-based green screeds and in areas subject to prolonged or permanent wet conditions such as swimming pools. It’s rapid-setting and can be grouted after approximately 3 hours.
After fixing, tiles can be grouted with Tilemaster Grout 3000, a flexible, fast-setting wall and floor grout which is suitable for joints between 1mm and 20mm. Internal corners and joints can be filled with Silicone 3000+. These products are available in a range of 18 colours, allowing you to colour match the tile or use a contrasting colour as desired.
