Yurtbay Seramik has won the Wallcovering Award in The International Design and Architecture Awards 2017

September 2017

Top interiors mag design et al has announced that Yurtbay Seramik has won the Wallcovering Award in The International Design and Architecture Awards 2017.  Yurtbay's winning design was Cube: a 300 by 900mm rectified, high relief, moulded wall tile.   The Cube design is suitable for a many interior applications.  Available in four colours - black, hakhi, pearl and plantin white - the Cube range is suitable for both residential and commercial spaces.

Created by Yurtbay’s in-house design team, the objective of this design was to realise Yurtbay’s corporate logo as a textured glazed porcelain wall tile. The designers felt it was important that the design was in keeping with new design trends; as well as offering clients a new aesthetic while delivering a matt-finish moulded surface suitable for many uses including  as a display or feature wall.

Winning such a high profile award is a considerable coup for this ambitious Turkish manufacturer, which is represented in the UK by the IntCeram agency.
