N&C Tiles and Bathrooms offers ‘quality products at affordable prices’. That is the company’s brand positioning which is represented in the design of the stores, the in-store communications, the products sold and the long-standing price promise to customers.
With 18 branches nationwide, N&C Tiles and Bathrooms showcases thousands of tile and bathroom product lines, catering for customers with varying requirements. N&C Tiles and Bathrooms has rapidly expanded over the years, even during uncertain times, opening five new branches in the last eight years.
2018 has seen a significant change in the design of the stores. The showroom in Stevenage was relocated, and the New Southgate showroom was rebuilt after being devastated by a fire in May 2018. Hard work and dedication from the retail team meant that even at a time when fire struck, a mobile temporary showroom was erected within 48 hours and figures had barely been affected as customer orders were still being processed.
The open space at New Southgate allowed a store layout with a greater number of room sets for customers to experience. The company increased the investment in inspirational lifestyle imagery to enable customers to envisage their new space. It also designed and produced new stands that better showcase the product collections and a newly developed Creative Hub that better helps to inspire customers. This has set the new standard for all the retail sites.
