

According to a recent story on CeramicWorldWeb.it, Smaltochimica - the first company to offer digital glues for ceramic decoration - has, in collaboration with Projecta Engineering, developed a new product: Digicol Next. This innovative new line of digital water-based glues is claimed to result in a 90% reduction in odorigenous and TOC emissions, an 80% reduction in total aldehydes, and a 95% reduction of total SOVs.
These results were obtained during tests with a Projecta Evo Dry Fix machine at the Cooperativa Ceramica d'Imola. The checks were carried out and certified by Dr. Alan Tonon and Chemicalab. It is anticipated that this significant technological innovation that will benefit the whole ceramic sector.
