Sacmi supplies the Chinese Belite Ceramics group

November 2018

Belite Ceramics, a leading Chinese producer of high-end white body wall tiles - with manufacturing plants located in Anyang and Tianjin - has placed an order with Sacmi aimed at increasing its wall tile output and also creating new ranges of porcelain floor tiles.

Belite has commissioned Sacmi to provide a complete body preparation line consisting of two separate units for the production of wall and floor tile slips, both equipped with modular grinding solutions and Sacmi ATE spray driers.

Sacmi Nanhai, the group’s Chinese branch, will supply pressing equipment consisting of three PHC 2890 presses for wall tiles, and three PHC 4300 presses for floor tiles; downstream of which four horizontal dryers and three dual-channel kilns will be installed.

The order also includes pallet handling solutions from Sacmi-NuovaSima, including laser guided vehicles.  The five sorting lines will be equipped with a Flawmaster quality control system.
